One Direction’s lead singles have a habit of being ridiculously frickin’ amazing, don’t they? The iconic opening ‘du-dudu-dudu-chchchchch’ ofWhat Makes You BeautifulLive While We’re Young‘s wet t-shirtness, basically everything about Best Song Ever. All just massive tunes, really. So obviously the first single from album four’s gonna have to BRING IT, and if Naughty Boy’s to be believed we can probably expectOne Chance to Dance in and around our eardrums this autumn.

Yup – Naughts has been teasing their collab for yonks, and now he reckons the tune they co-wrote with Emeli Sande might actually be the lads’ next single. AGH, WAH and GAH.

Chatting to The Sun backstage at V Festival, the naughtiest of boys said: “I had to think about doing it because a One Direction song was a big leap into the pop world.

“We wrote it with Emeli Sande and it’s a real progression for them. I’ve been told there’s a big chance it’s going to be the first single from their next album. I literally finished it this morning so I’m allowed to talk about it now.

Oh bloody hell this is exciting, innit? The fragrances, concert films and random biscuit sponsorship deals are all well and good but we *need* some new 1D down our little lugholes. Hurry up, please and a-thank you.

Naughty Boy has been spilling the beans on James Arthur’s new album and it sounds like he has high hopes for the X Factor winner, when his debut record is released later this year.

The Middlesborough man certainly has taken his time with the new tracks and has been busy in the studio ever since he finished touring in February of this year.

‘La La La’ hitmaker Naughty Boy was one of the songwriters and producers working with Arthur on his new tunes and in a brand new interview with InDemand he revealed that he got a sneak preview of some of the songs included in the album recently and he thinks fans will love what’s being released.

He described the record as ‘poppy’, ‘urban’ and ‘edgy’ and teased a track that he and Emeli Sande penned, explaining:

“It’s really cool actually, it’s definitely poppy but with an edge and a bit urban. One of the songs that me and Emeli [Sandé] wrote is like a big orchestral piece and it has no drums. It’s a real album…. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised with his album.”

James is still busy working on the record yet and it hasn’t been wrapped just yet, despite being slated for release this autumn.

He tweeted fans a few days ago saying:

“Back in the studio busy busy… Looking forward to a lazy day off tomorrow what shall I do? #DOWNTIME #LOVE”

Arthur did confirm the title of his second single adding:

“OK… at last! SO excited to now finally confirm ‘You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You’ is my new single #YNTSLY #LOVE”

At the start of today Emeli took to her Twitter account to tweet lyrics to a new song. The lyrics were:

So I’m gonna love you As if we have a chance

Then, a minute later Emeli tweeted more lyrics and ended the tweet with the hashtag: #WhoNeedsTheWorldEP. The tweet contained the following lyrics/message:

like the recession is over, Like we can all afford to dance Yeh I’m gonna love you As if we have a chance #whoneedstheworldEP

So what do you think, is ‘Who Needs The World’ the title of Emeli’s upcoming EP? Comment below on your opinion.

The X Factor final is less than two weeks away and finally the team have confirmed two of the acts that will take to the stage during the grand finale.

Emeli Sandé will be performing when the ITV show takes over Manchester’s MEN Arena on the 8th and 9th of December and she will be joined on the lineup by hit boyband One Direction.

Both acts have appeared on the series already this year, with Emeli showcasing her new single with Labrinth ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ earlier this month.

1D have been on a number of times, most recently performing their latest single ‘Little Things’ in a pre-recorded segment during a Saturday night show.

The show moves into it’s semi final stage this weekend and Union J, Jahmene Douglas, Christopher Maloney and James Arthur will compete for three places in the final, with one being eliminated on Sunday night.

Other guests for the two night special are expected to be announced soon, however Tulisa has revealed who she would like to see taking to the stage.

The N Dubz star wants Jahmene Douglas to perform with Diana Ross and James Arthur to sing with Sting.

Jane McDonald has already offered to perform with Christopher Maloney and tonight he promised if he makes it through this weekend, he will sing with the cruise ship singer.

What do you think of the lineup so far and who would you like to see 1D singing with? Union J is the obvious choice of course.
